Aeternity’s partnering with Dacade to teach blockchain to beginners

The free course comprises tutorials, practical challenges and crypto-based rewards.

Aeternity has partnered with peer-to-peer online education service Dacade to teach blockchain to beginners, according to a recent blog post.

Named “Introduction to blockchain,” the free course will teach future users, entrepreneurs and developers ” the fundamentals of blockchain technology”, and will even reward students with the company’s Aeternity tokens for developing the technology for practical application.

Aeternity uses open-source, public blockchain technology to “deliver unmatched efficiency, transparent governance and global scalability.”

“æternity and dacade are united by the firm belief that blockchain technology will play an important role in many aspects of our common future. We are therefore investing in ways to bring this technology closer to the mainstream.” said Nikola Stojanow, CBDO of aeternity and CEO of aeternity Ventures in a statement. “The æternity learning community on the dacade platform will educate future entrepreneurs, users, and developers to identify blockchain’s unique advantages and become aware of possible applications.”

The course is described in the post as a ‘non-technical introduction’, and is designed for blockchain beginners.

The course will be taught primarily through tutorial, giving users the opportunity to test and develop their skills through practical challenges. Developers will also receive code reviews on their submissions.

“Through our cooperation, we aim to address the challenge of providing accessible, practical blockchain education in a scalable way.” commented Dacade founder Moritz Stellmacher. “We believe that a decentralized approach to blockchain education will make it not only more scalable and accessible but also flexible enough to accommodate new information, as it becomes available. I am excited to see what new blockchain use cases the students will come up with.”
