Tron-based Seedit officially launches on Twitter

Tron-based Seedit is officially ready for launch on Twitter, according to a statement on the social media platform.

The crypto payment system was already available on Telegram but Twitter users will now be able to send TRX, with the tweet saying: “Seedit has been tested on Twitter and is ready for launch. Soon you’ll be able to #GoSeedit $TRX to your favourite bloggers, authors, musicians, and family! Who’s on your list?”

Following this milestone, Seedit reportedly plans to expand to Reddit, Kakao, and possibly beyond.

Justin Sun, CEO of Tron, also announced the acquisition of the Blockchain.org domain name. The official release said: “Blockchain.org will be a one-stop aggregated data, search engine platform. It will be a platform that offers big data analysis, project evaluation, information search and other services for users in the blockchain field.

“Justin also encourages others in the industry to participate and build a platform to help the growth of blockchain industry.”

By utilising big data analysis, Tron will be able to better understand its market and the users within it.

Previously, the firm acquired file sharing platform BitTorrent as part of its aim to become the “world’s largest decentralised ecosystem”.

However, following the buy-out, the company said: “BitTorrent has no plans to change what we do or charge for the services we provide. We have no plans to enable mining of cryptocurrency now or in the future.”
